for the Fast Failover to work, you need to set the LMS/Back LMS IP. For those IP’s you have to use the Controller IP of each controller. Without this configuration, the second tunnel to the standby will not come up and fast failover will not work. If you do not see the S flag on the Standby during normal operation, this could be the issue.
I hope this helps you to solve the issue. If not, give omre details and I will try to help you.

Many thanks,
Florian

I just tested, as per the setup. The LMS and backup LMS configuration is not required. The AP is able to failover and come up on the standby controller(when the master controller is shutdown). But, I dont find the AP with S flag on the standby controller(on normal operations).
An issue on setting the LMS and backup LMS, the AP which reboots while on the standby controller is not or never coming up again. Without the LMS/backupLMS configuraiton, the rebooting AP come up again on the standby controller.

Thanks for visiting my page.
You can run the controller in stand-alone mode as well. But you will loose many of the new features.
To run the controller in stand-alone mode you have to select standalone during initial setup.

I couldn’t get it running as well. I tried with the new version 5.2 of proxmox, but failed to get the vlans stuff running. Need to make additional tests to figure out what the problem is.

I am using a laptop as my host, so I only have one interface. I have a static IP address that is on my management VLAN. The port on my Cisco switch is untagged on the Management VLAN and the rest were tagged for my other VLANs. My thought was that when I spinned up an image, since all of the VLANs are tagged, I thought I would be able to set a static IP address on the image and have no issues. Unfortunately, that has not been the result I was hoping for. If even if I put a static address on my image, I am still not able to connect to network.

I must missing something. I thought I might switch over to openvswitch, but that will be a last resort option.

I am trying to get a MD as a VPNc to connect to the MM with no success.
